Bellwether's Revenge

Fresh air has never seen sweeter for Bellwether.

She was fresh out of prison, and she was ready for a new start. Now, most people expect the ones who just came out of prison to be ready for starting with a clean slate. Perhaps they had enough time to rethink and repent for their past transgressions, and are ready to leave the past behind and start over with a good and honest life.

Well, Dawn Bellwether was not one of those.

She haven't gave up her plan of seizing power. She did not rethink nor repent her actions. She did not wanted to leave the past behind and start a new path. She was ready to turn a new leaf, that's for sure, but she was still going to pursue her plans. She was still going to take power, one way or another.

That was why she used whatever connections she had to get herself out of the jail earlier. Luckily, in order to do her little plan, she needed to stablish a lot of connections. Co-conspirators, if you want to call them that. Now, most of them were too powerful and smart to ever be caught by the police. This worked on her favor, for she was later able to them and convince them to help her, or she would rat them out to the police.

Now, the rest was just procedure. A small legal recourse in here. A small technicality in there. A little waddle of cash in the right paw. A large sum transferred to a certain bank , and soon, Dawn Bellwether was out on the streets again, ready to once more pursue her plans of greatness and power.

The best part? No one even knew she was out! Her s made sure to not have her release be covered in any way, and not even the ZPD or the mammals on the City Hall knew! As far as everyone knew and cared, she was still serving jailtime for her crimes.

Of course, it would be harder now, as not even all of her s could erase all of the bad fame that she had gained after being arrested and having her plan exposed to the world. Very few mammals would knowingly side with her now. However, that was no deterrent for a mammal with Dawn's ambition and resolve. She would be able to think of something else. All she needed was time.

However, as she walked into her new improvised, cheap office and sat on her chair, she knew that she would not be straight into planning her next move to climb the power ladder.

There was something she had to do first.

Dawn was a vengeful mammal. She was able to it that. She pretended like she could take things calmly and laugh about that later, but in truth, she held onto grudges against anyone who she thought had wronged her. Once she had been crossed by someone, she had no choice but to go out of her way to get revenge. And now, there were two mammals over whom she just had to get revenge before she would be able to think of any new plan to take over.

Even because, if she didn't took care of them now, they could surely come to pester her again in the future and threaten her new plans.

Before doing anything else, Dawn had to get revenge on the two mammals who ruined her plan and tossed her in jail.

She had to get revenge on Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde.
